Flood Resilience of Housing Infrastructure Modeling and Quantification Using a Bayesian Belief Network

Resilience is the capability of a system to resist any hazard and revive desirable performance. The consequences such hazards require development resilient infrastructure ensure community safety sustainability. However, resilience-based housing design challenging task due lack appropriate post-disaster datasets non-availability resilience models for infrastructure. Hence, it necessary build model based on realistic dataset. In this work, Bayesian belief network (BBN) was developed resilience. proposed tested in real Northeast India reliability, recovery, against flood that were quantified. required data quantification collected by conducting field survey from public reports documents. Lastly, sensitivity analysis performed observe critical parameters BBN model, which can be used inform designers, policymakers, stakeholders making decisions.
